Ethnosocionics and the Ukrainian Revolution

Each ethnic group, possessing its own specific integral type of information metabolism, creates its own social structures in its development, and also naturally strives to create its own state. I have written about this many times in various articles on ethnosocionics and explained it in reports and lectures. The first striking example of this is described in the Bible, when the ancient Jews asked the prophet Samuel to anoint King Saul with them – by that time this nomadic people had matured to the point of statehood.

The state is acceptable for an ethnic group, as a rule, when it is identical, dual or activational in its integral type to the ethnic group type. For example, in the USA the state type is identical to the ethnic group type – LIE, PT.

The integral type of the Ukrainian people is the ethical-intuitive introvert (EII, “Humanist”, RI). He endures for a very long time until he encounters open cruel and lawless violence, i.e. the impact on the one-dimensional pain function of volitional sensorics. Since the current government has an integral type of sensory-logical introvert (SLE, “Marshal”, FL) and acts mainly on the four-dimensional volitional aggressive sensorics, any of its steps – beating students, capturing and disappearing people, using weapons, forceful intimidation, etc. – turns out to be traumatic and irritating to the pain function of the Ukrainian people. That is why the people and the government have entered the acute phase of the socionic conflict. In such a tough conflict, the parties enter a “clinch” and do not intend to give in to each other. The struggle is for attrition, “until complete victory”. However, the resource of the government, for example in Kyiv, is limited to several thousand security forces, of which the most combat-ready are the “Berkut” units – about 3,000 people throughout Ukraine, of which about 1,500 are in Kyiv. It is obvious that the resource of the people, even with its weak armament, is much higher.

It is the people, and not mythical militants (although, of course, a noticeable percentage of extremism is typical for young people), who are the main actors in what is happening. It is the people, who are “fed up” with the government, acting as the primary, according to the Constitution, source of power, who began to eliminate the conflicting corrupt government at the local level and to form their own, people’s government bodies in the regions, while not allowing anarchy, pogroms and destructive disorder.

It is interesting that having occupied or captured an administrative building, the people immediately begin to restore order – cleaning, repairing broken doors, informing employees and officials about the need to go to work so that the national economy does not suffer. Here, the demand for manifestations of the dual component as a necessary type of people’s power – the logical-sensory extrovert (LSE, “Administrator”, PS).

It is obvious that the desire to have one’s own, popular power, and not one imposed from outside, and the accumulated hatred of the existing, conflicting power, is the driving motive. The adoption of repressive “dictatorial” laws on January 16, and in violation of all norms and regulations, led to the overwhelming majority of Ukrainians feeling a physical threat to themselves.

This is how the 4th painful integral psycho-informational function of the ethnos works, in sharp contrast to the suggestive, suggestible function of the Russian ethnos, the integral type of which is the intuitive-ethical introvert (IEI, “Lyric”, TE). Therefore, the reaction of Ukrainians is not the submission that was expected by the authorities, but active resistance: according to sociologists, from 450 to 600 thousand people are ready to wage the most active, even with a possible fatal outcome, fight against the authorities in Ukraine, which is several times more than the number of internal troops and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the same sociologists, the difference in mentality is mainly age-related: during the years of independence, a new generation has grown up that does not know Soviet fear and Soviet order. And in general, the share of the “Soviet” mentality is noticeably higher in the East and South of Ukraine. This explains the slowness of the formation of a new civil mentality in these regions.

At the same time, the people, as the bearer of the “Humanist” type, do not resort to the use of weapons. Only peaceful protests continued for two months. And now, when the confrontation has escalated, as a rule, thousands of people simply push out the police, as it was in 2004, and occupy buildings. In all regions, there is not a single killed representative of the authorities (there are only bruised ones), everyone is released in peace. Even those 200 soldiers of the Internal Troops, who penetrated the Ukrainian House on January 25 to strike at the rear of the protesters, were not disarmed, but simply allowed to leave. Such humane behavior according to the four-dimensional ethics of relations and one-dimensional volitional sensorics sharply contrasts with the four-dimensional aggression of the authorities, especially the “Berkut”, who violated the laws so much that, according to experts, there is already a full set of crimes against humanity for the Hague Tribunal.

Mockery, torture and kidnapping are extreme manifestations of the one-dimensional ethics of relationships and humanism of the SLE type. All this is similar to the actions of the “werewolves of Tonton Macoute” under the dictator of Haiti Duvalier. Academician and philosopher Miroslav Popovich made a direct diagnosis of the government – it is fascism. The very actions of the Berkut officers to capture protesters, their undressing in the cold and photos and videos with victims reminded many of the well-known practice of Hitler’s men – undressing people in the cold, pouring water on them, torturing them, taking pictures. All the dead are the result of the actions of the security forces, and the actions of the people are only the response of desperate and embittered people who directly say that they will go to their deaths, but will not coexist with this government and the bandits hired by it.

Here one cannot help but recall Goethe’s “Faust”:

“Here is the result of all earthly wisdom:
only he is worthy of happiness and freedom,
who goes to fight for them every day!”

And if with the type of the post-Soviet state – the logical-sensory introvert (LSI, “Master”,LF), the people, indignant, somehow coexisted in the relations of the Superego (and in the introverted version these relations are softer than in the extroverted one), then with the SLE – the authorities and their power structures that have formed in the last two years, he is neither physically nor psycho-informationally compatible. The same Berkut officers, by their own admission, are paid more than 800 dollars a day by the authorities, therefore they are ready to defend it by all permitted and prohibited methods, not stopping at any crimes.

Patriarch Filaret said that for him the image of modern Ukraine is that protester captured and stripped naked in the cold, filmed on video by the Berkut officers, who stands naked, but with his head held high, with a Cossack forelock, not bowing before his tormentors.

However, the people will still win, no matter what it costs them, “not for themselves, but at least for the future of their children.”
